One last post for today (for me anyway). There's a great sketch over at Taylored Expressions for today's Cupcake Sketch Challenge and I wanted to play!
It's a pretty simple card. I whipped up a quick page of fun text using Microsoft Word and phrases like "living in yoga pants" and "potato chips are a vegetable" to provide a background for PMSabella. (Looks like me all the time)! She is coloured using pencil crayons and gamsol, then trimmed into an oval and matted. I layered the oval onto some glossy black cardstock for contrast, then onto a patterned paper which I turned into a scallop with the Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch. I love that thing! A ribbon, a flower and rhinestone and that's all folks!
How CUTE -- LOVE the background sentiments -- too FUN!!! Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove it! The colors and demention is great!
ReplyDeleteThis is a riot. I never would have thought about whipping up my own background with words. Very creative. Great job on the TE cupcake challenge.
